Maryland University of Integrative Health’s 12-acre campus in Laurel, MD, houses the MUIH Graduate School, Sherman Cohn Library, Meeting Point Bookstore and Cafe, Himmelfarb Gallery, Herb Garden, and Natural Care Center.
The campus is encompassed by thousands of acres of preserved natural woodlands that surround the Middle Patuxent River and lead to the Middle Patuxent Environmental Area—positioning our students in the midst of Maryland's natural beauty and in the heart of one of the greatest concentrations of health-related corporations, regulatory agencies, academic institutions, and research laboratories in the world.
MUIH students and the public are welcome to borrow books and CDs from the library’s extensive collection of more than 9,000 health and wellness titles.
The Meeting Point offers many of the required texts for the university’s academic programs, and carries a variety of freshly prepared and pre-packaged lunch items.
The gallery features four exhibitions annually, all focusing on some aspect of healing, wellness, or nature, in keeping with the university’s mission.
A place of quiet, communion, and learning, the herb garden provides a haven for all who visit the MUIH campus.
For nearly 40 years, the Natural Care Center teaching clinic has provided a highly integrated, team care approach to natural healthcare, currently delivering more than 12,000 treatments and consultations annually.
