Doctor of Acupuncture

Blend ancient healing traditions with contemporary science as the basis for treating the whole person. Graduates of this program are eligible to become licensed acupuncturists, and will be recognized as doctors who are prepared to work as part of multidisciplinary healthcare teams. This program is designed as a first professional doctorate degree which means that students can enroll with a bachelor’s degree and progress directly through the doctorate. READ MORE

Doctor of Oriental Medicine

In addition to a strong foundation in the theory and philosophy of traditional acupuncture found in our Doctor of Acupuncture program, this program prepares graduates to also practice using Chinese herbs. Graduates are eligible to become licensed acupuncturists, and will be recognized as doctors who are prepared to work as part of multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine

Graduates of MUIH’s four-year, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program will be prepared as first-contact providers with expertise in community medicine, integrative health practices, evidence-informed medicine, and naturopathic therapeutics, including botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, counseling, homeopathy, and manual therapies that address the whole person. READ MORE

Doctor of Clinical Nutrition

Designed to fill the tremendous and increasing demand for nutritionists who can work at all levels of the healthcare continuum, graduates of this program will be prepared to work as a critical part of multidisciplinary teams in a number of health and wellness settings. The program uses a cohort model to maximize peer to peer support and engagement and is offered primarily online with four weekend experiences on campus. READ MORE
