At Maryland University of Integrative Health, we want to help you take that passion a step further. Whether you are interested in health and wellness, horticulture and gardening, culinary arts, nutrition, educating the public or want to live a more environmentally friendly and sustainable lifestyle – our certificate program in Herbal Studies can help you do just that. As a student, you’ll explore the potential of medicinal plants. You will engage all five senses while diving deeper into the benefits of herbs with each class you take.

Experience this program in two different formats, hybrid and online, to develop foundational knowledge and skills in herbal medicine. Students gain knowledge through practical experiences in an experiential learning program that offers unique opportunities through MUIH’s herbal dispensary and garden.
